Garden Variety is a talk series curated and hosted by Brisbane architecture practice Vokes and Peters. This informal forum fosters a celebration of ideas and culture through the stories of inspired thinkers and makers. The line-up of past speakers includes urban designers, landscape architects, graphic designers, artisans, tailors, architects, exhibition designers and brand advisors. This event was programmed as part of the Asia Pacific Architecture Festival 2020 and has had a change of date for COVID safety compliance.
Garden Variety is delighted to bring artist Judy Watson to the 2020 talk series. This event is opened with an Acknowledgement to Country by Avril Quaill and a talk by researcher Cathy Keys. This event on St Helena Island (Noogoon) is co-hosted by Milani Gallery, and organised by Brisbane Open House.
