Paddington street with city view

The ubiquitous Queenslander, art deco theatre, a tramway long since gone, workers’ cottages and new buildings with small hilly back streets in between makes up the intriguing mix that contributes to the feeling of living history in Brisbane’s Paddington and Red Hill.

Explore Paddington’s houses, history, and culture through the eyes of senior architect Malcolm Middleton. Discuss building styles and hear stories of the changes in this influential inner-city community as it has evolved.
